Donald E. Amsinger
1931 – 2024
Please join us in praying for the repose of the soul of our brother in Christ, Donald E Amsinger, age 92, of Osage Beach, Missouri who passed away on July 18, 2024, at Lake Regional Health System.
He was born on November 17, 1931, in Saint Louis, Missouri; a son of Clarance and Isabell (Staude) Amsinger.
He was united in marriage to Pauline Bexten on October 17, 1970, in Westphalia, Missouri.
Donald worked as a Bus driver for Eldon school district for over 15years. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed fishing and watching cardinal baseball games. His most treasured time was spent with his family. Especially when he could coach them in little league baseball. Donald was an active member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake Ozark, Missouri. He was also active and life time member of Knights of Columbus and the Marine Corp League in Jefferson City, Missouri. Donald was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all who knew him. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Donald is survived by wife, Pauline (Polly) Amsinger of the home; his two sons Mark Amsinger (Sarah) and Matt Amsinger; his two grandchildren Madeline (Logan) and Isabelle; Other relatives and many friends.
Donald was preceded by his parents Clarance and Isabell Amsinger; and a brother Richard Amsinger.
Friends will be received from 9:30 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Our Lady of Lake Catholic Church in Lake Ozark, Missouri. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Our Lady of Lake Catholic Church in Lake Ozark, Missouri with Father Michael Penn officiating.
Burial will follow in Greenmore Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Barnett, Missouri.
Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Marine Corps League that Donald was active in.
