WELCOME — It is the perfect name for the weekend. From the minute you walk in the door you feel so welcome and comfortable. I did not know very many people when I attended in 2023, but now I have a great community of people at Our Lady of the Lake. I will be forever grateful that I took the time for myself to attend… You will not be sorry! You deserve the time to pray, reflect, and enjoy some really great food!

Welcome Weekend is an experience of Catholic women gathering for the purpose of becoming more dynamic Catholics through prayer, sharing life experiences, emotions, fellowship and laughter, bonding together in new friendships as we continue our life journeys together with a stronger than ever faith and love for each other.

When I first went to Welcome, I was scared thinking…. “What will they expect of me?” After attending, I felt closer to God and my retreat group. 

Welcome gave me the encouragement to be braver about joining new groups.

Here is your opportunity! Our Welcome is a journey of faith and friendship for ALL women of our parish, not just those who are new parishioners at Our Lady of the Lake. Join us for a full day on Saturday, returning on Sunday for Mass and a partial day. This is not an overnight event.
