This week’s gospel is about two miracles. Jesus brings a dead 12 year old girl back to life. Her parents believed that Jesus was capable of the miracle of bringing her back to them. And, a woman that had been hemorrhaging for 12 years merely touched Jesus’ clothes and was cured. She believed that Christ had the power to heal if only she would be able to get close enough to touch his garment. The thing about miracles is that one needs to believe that they do happen and that you are worthy of receiving or witnessing that miracle. Actually miracles happen all the time…some little and some big. As a family during dinner this week, discuss what miracles you have seen whether big or small. Remember there is no such thing as a coincidence; all things are part of God’s plan.
