  It’s time!! We will be starting Family Faith Formation this week!

  The Youth Group starts today, Sunday, September 8 at 11:30 in Bestgen Hall Youth Room. Sharing the Good News will run until 1:00. Sara Barlett and Karen Blevins will be their fearless leaders! The youth program is totally revamped and should be a good blend of spirituality and service. If you have an 8th-12th grader, please encourage them to attend.

  The rest of the FFF group will start classes on Wednesday, September 11 after the 5:30 Rosary. Father Penn will be out on 9/11 and 9/18. We will be saying the Rosary on those Wednesdays in place of Mass.

  This year we will be offering more substantial food after Mass. There will be bento boxes with sandwiches, carrots, and fruit snacks. Hopefully this will hold our children over with more healthy food.

Please remember the following simple ways to serve our Lord and others during the week:

· Make Someone Smile—Monday

· Treat Someone with a Compliment—Tuesday

· Worship with Vigor—Wednesday

· Thank the Lord—Thursday

· Forgive Others—Friday

· Surprise a Loved One—Saturday

· Sing at Mass—Sunday

Upcoming Events

· Sunday, September 8—First Youth Group—Spreading the Good News from 11:30-1:00 in Bestgen Hall.

· Wednesday, September 11—First night of FFF for all K-7th graders. Rosary at 5:30 and class starting at 6:00 and ending at 7:00.

· Thursday, September 19—First OCIA class for Adults from 5:30-7:00.

· Sunday, September 22—Donut Sunday after 8:00 and 10:00 Mass. Donations help defray the cost of attending NCYC in November 2025.

· Wednesday, October 2—Parent night at Shawnee Bluff Winery from 6:00—7:00. Child care for those younger than kindergarten will be provided.
