  We enjoyed our first Youth Group and FFF sessions for the year!

  We had our first Youth Group “Sharing the Good News” session last Sunday. Sara Barlett and Karen Blevins are leading our 8th-12th grade students in deepening their faith through spiritual direction and volunteerism. The program is totally revamped and promises to be very fulfilling and FUN. For more information, please don’t hesitate to contact me at the number below.

  The first FFF session was Wednesday night. It was so wonderful to see all of the kindergarteners-seventh graders here together. Since Father is on vacation, the children said the rosary. They offered the rosary for Father’s continued healing and strength. Our fabulous Catechists and assistants are as follows:

K-1st —Terry Wedding & Mikaella Stipanitz, First Reconciliation/Communion— Joan Wolf & Zuzana Stipanitz, 3rd-4th—Linda Bukalski & Mary Gordon, 5th-6th — Stephanie Steinbrenner & Kaitlyn Steinbrenner, Confirmation— Lisa Cluver.

Please remember the following simple ways to serve our Lord and others during the week:

· Make Someone Smile—Monday

· Treat Someone with a Compliment—Tuesday

· Worship with Vigor—Wednesday

· Thank the Lord—Thursday

· Forgive Others—Friday

· Surprise a Loved One—Saturday

· Sing at Mass—Sunday (If you are a Saturday Mass family, swap Saturday and Sunday;)

Upcoming Events

· Wednesday, September 11—First night of FFF for all K-7th graders. Rosary at 5:30 and class starting at 6:00 and ending at 7:00.

· Thursday, September 19—First OCIA class for Adults from 5:30-7:00.

· Sunday, September 22—Donut Sunday after 8:00 and 10:00 Mass. Donations help defray the cost of attending NCYC in November 2025.

· Wednesday, October 2—Parent night at Shawnee Bluff Winery from 6:00—7:00. Child care for those younger than kindergarten will be provided.

· Sunday, October 13—Youth Group (8th-12th graders) “Sharing the Good News” 11:00-12:30 in Bestgen Hall
