  Family Challenge: Today’s Gospel talks about how Jesus was walking along the shore and came upon Simon Peter, James and John as they were cleaning up after fishing all night with nothing to show for it. Jesus, a stranger to them, came up to them and told them to go out and try fishing again. I imagine that they were tired after fishing all night. But, despite not knowing this man, they went out and caught two boats full of fish. What a surprise that must have been. After that, they left their nets and business and followed Jesus.  What would you be willing to leave behind to more fully follow what God has called you to do? Take some time together as a family to discuss.

Here’s a reminder of the little things we can all do to make a difference in someone’s life each day:

· Make Someone Smile—Monday

· Treat Someone with a Compliment—Tuesday

· Worship with Vigor—Wednesday

· Thank the Lord—Thursday

· Forgive Others—Friday

· Surprise a Loved One—Saturday

· Sing at Mass—Sunday (If you are a Saturday Mass family, swap Saturday and Sunday;)

• Sunday, February 16—Donut Sunday/Youth Sunday after 8:00 and 10:00 Masses. ALL YOUTH get a FREE Donut! Donations help defray the cost of sending our high school youth to National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC) in November.
