We have some great summer activities for the youth of our parish this year. Beginning Wednesday, June 4 from 6-7 pm (after 5:30 Mass) we will be offering the Bee Attitudes for our youth every other Wednesday. With the Beatitudes we will be looking at various Saints to see with which Beatitude they best match.

We will also be offering Totus Tuus (Catholic VBS) at St. Anthony’s in Camdenton from June 8 – 13. The 1st – 6th graders will meet from 9am – 3pm, Monday – Friday. The 7th – 12th graders will meet on Sunday – Thursday from 6:30pm – 8:45pm. After speaking to a couple of the leaders from previous Totus Tuus sessions, the week will be action packed and full of fun.

Then each month we will begin offering OLL Family Week. OLL Family Week will be year-round and consist of three key events:

  • Third Sunday of each month – Donut Sunday when each youth will receive free donuts after 8:00 or 10:00 am Masses.
  • The following Wednesday of each month – We will be holding XLT Adoration in the evening. It will be a more contemporary form of Adoration from 6:00-7:00 (after 5:30 Mass). This will begin June 18. More information to follow.
  • The following Saturday of each month – the Education Commission will be offering a monthly Supper With The Saints following 5:00 Mass. Our first Supper with the Saints will be on Saturday, June 21. This will be a fun community builder!

  • Wednesday, June 4 – Bee Attitudes & Saints 6:00-7:00 (after 5:30 Mass)
  • June 8 – June 13 – Totus Tuus (Catholic VBS) at St. Anthony’s in Camdenton. See above for more information.
  • Sunday, June 15 – Donut Sunday/Youth Sunday after 8:00 and 10:00 Masses. ALL YOUTH get a FREE Donut! Donations help defray the cost of sending our high school youth to National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC) in November.
  • Sunday, May 25 – NCYC Quilt Raffle. Tickets are $5.00 each or 5 tickets for $20.00. I really want this quilt! Don’t tell Pat; I’ve already set aside a bundle of money for tickets! The drawing will be Labor Day Weekend. Need not be present to win. Lynne, I know you want this too, so you had better pony up!
