Family Faith Formation

August 24, 2025 Michele Haggerty

Do you have youth that are in Kindergarten through 12th grade? Our Family Faith Formation program is scheduled to begin classes on Wednesday, September 10 from 5:30-7:00pm. Registration will be held on Saturday, August 30 and Sunday, August 31 after all Masses.  We will also have registration after the 5:30 Mass on Wednesday, September 3 at the FFF Barbecue from 6:00-7:30. Even if you have already registered, we would love it if you attended the BBQ as well.

Parents: Please note that we will be having a meeting with Monsignor Greg the first night of class on Wednesday, September 10 after 5:30 Mass. Confirmation parents, please plan to stay just a bit longer to continue a discussion with Msgr. Greg. He would really like to meet all of you!

Upcoming Events

  • Saturday, August 30 & Sunday, August 31 – FFF Registration. There will be registration forms that can be filled out after all weekend Masses (including the Hispanic Mass) for Family Faith Formation grades K-12.
  • Wednesday, September 3 – FFF Registration and BBQ from 6:00-7:30 in Bestgen Hall. This will follow the 5:30 Mass in the church. Monsignor will be there to meet you.
  • Wednesday, September 10 – First night of FFF classes for K-12. Parent Meeting with Monsignor Greg. Please plan to attend Mass and stay for the meeting. Monsignor is anxious to meet you all. Those that have youth that will be Confirmed this year please plan to stay a little longer.
  • Sunday, September 21 – Donut Sunday/Youth Sunday after 8:00 and 10:00 Masses. ALL YOUTH get a FREE Donut! Donations help defray the cost of sending our high school youth to National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC) in November. ALSO, if any 5-12 graders would like to sing at 10:00 Mass, meet Stacy in the chapel at 9:30. We had a great turnout on August 10. Let’s see if we can double that number. Those youth sounded wonderful!!
  • Wednesday, September 24 – XLT Adoration after 5:30 Mass from 6:00-7:00. It is a more contemporary form of Adoration that is planned and led by the parish Youth Group. It is open to all parishioners and particularly designed for the young adults and families of the parish.
  • Saturday, September 27 – Supper with the Saints after 5:00 Mass. Sign up in Fellowship Hall. Pick a saint whose feast day is in the month of September and then come up with a dish that will be shared potluck style that represents that saint. For example, St. Joseph could be Sloppy Joe’s or since many Sicilians claim St. Joseph as their patron saint, you could make an Italian dish. Please be prepared to share a few facts about the saint that you selected. This is open to all parishioners! It promises to be a fun community builder.
