Fourth Sunday of Lent

   The sign of the serpent in the desert that gave healing to those who were bitten by the serpents in the desert is surpassed by the sign of the Son of God, crucified, bringing to humanity healing and restoration from their sins.  Not only is the Son of God a sign of God’s healing, but He is also the source of all healing: bringing the dead to life, sight to the blind, and love to those living in hatred.  The Cross is the sign of our salvation and from the Cross the victory was won by the Son of God.  There are many signs in and from the world but the life-giving and most important sign of all is the Cross.  May we glory in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ.

   A reminder that the Tuesday Mass will be held at Arrowhead Senior Care Center at 2:00 p.m.  Everyone is welcome to attend this Mass.  There will be no 8:00 a.m. Mass in the chapel.  Confessions will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the church this Thursday.
