Nineteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Get rid of everything that prevents us from being in relationship with God and with each other. It is difficult to forgive, yet God expects us to do just that, for we desire God to forgive us, don’t we? When we please God, we become a sacrifice pleasing to Him. Stop grumbling and groaning about things you have no control over. Remember: God has control over everything. Bring to Him your cares and concerns and allow God to take care of all your concerns and difficulties. What ever we hunger for, God will satisfy our needs. He gives us Living Bread—His Son—Who is the Bread of Life.
Let us be mindful that it is God’s ways that lead to eternal life, not ours. May we discipline our lives and open up our lives to God’s will.
