Fourth Sunday of Easter

   Today the Church observes the World Day of Prayer for Vocations: This day opens National Vocation Awareness Week to place before us the opportunity to ask our Lord for more dedicated, holy priests, deacons, and consecrated men and women.  May they be inspired by Jesus Christ, supported by our faith community, and respond generously to God’s gift of vocation.

   Next Sunday, at the 10:00 a.m. Mass, the Second Grade Class of PSR will be receiving their First Communion.  Everyone is welcome to this Mass to celebrate with this class and their families their reception of First Holy Communion.  On Wednesday evening, May 1^st during the 5:30 p.m. Mass May Crowning will take place followed by an end of the year BBQ sponsored by the Knights of Columbus.  Everyone is welcome to attend both events.
