Twenty-Second Sunday in Ordinary Time

To follow Christ and be His disciple, we must take up our personal crosses and follow Him daily.  It is not enough to say we are a disciple; we must demonstrate it by carrying our cross as Jesus did His.  As the Lord gave His life for us, so too are we to give our life to Him.  This is both an obligation and a privilege we have as disciples.  May we be fervent and faithful disciples of the Lord.

Best wishes for a very Happy Labor Day weekend.  As our nation celebrates the labor force of our country, we give thanks to God for the gift of work and allowing us to participate in his creative work.  May the Lord bless the work we do for the benefit of our local communities, the world, and the glory of His kingdom.

This Wednesday evening, September 6th, PSR (Parish School of Religion) along with Family Faith Formation registration and BBQ will be held after 5:30 p.m. Mass.  I look forward to meeting with the parents and the students as we begin a new year in our PSR program.  Note the new scheduled time for the Wednesday Mass is 5:30 p.m.  Only Wednesday Masses will be held in the church.
