Easter Sunday of the Resurrection of the Lord

A Blessed Easter day to you and your families!

   From the darkness of the tomb, Jesus rose from the dead to bring those redeemed by His sacrifice, to the glory of His eternal light.  The grasp of death could not hold Him and the stone of the tomb could not seal Him in, because He trusted in the Father, and the Father raised Him from the dead.  As we celebrate today the victory of Christ over death, we need to be mindful that because of the resurrection, we too will live that new life Christ gifts us with by His resurrection.

Alleluia!  The Lord is risen.  Let us celebrate this day in great joy.
