Eighteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

  To the Israelite community, God provided bread for His people in the desert.  For us, His children, He gives us Bread from heaven, His own Son, to nourish us on our pilgrimage to holiness.  All we need to do is to approach this priceless gift in humility and in total belief that what we receive is the very Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  May we be transformed by what we receive and may we live as members—faithful members—of the Body of Christ.
