Twenty-Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time

  Have you ever found yourself questioning God’s decision and authority?  We do this in situations when something does not go the way we want it to.  We question God and we measure His ways and wisdom according to our own.  But God ways are not our ways, for God is God and we are human beings.  God is immortal, we are mortal.  God is everlasting in His justice and mercy, we are not.  We resist God in Him trying to lift us up to new heights, new potential, while fighting to stay mired in our sins and folly.  Open your minds and hearts to God and allow Him to work in and through you, for you will find that God is near to all who call upon Him.

  For the next couple of weeks, I will be away on vacation, therefore there will be no weekday Masses celebrated in the church nor will Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament be held.  The regular weekday schedule will resume on October 10^th.
