Twenty-Third Sunday in Ordinary Time

In the darkness and depths of life’s difficulties, God is there, whether we recognize it or not, to care for us and accompany us in this time.  It may not be the way we expect, or calming all our fears and expectations, but fear not!  God will accompany us in truth and justice in all life’s journeys.  God will open our eyes and loose our tongues for His praise and glory.  We cannot do it on our own, for we are a sinful people.  Jesus cured the sick, the blind and the lame as a sign that He was here among us to forgive our faults and failings.  We are to turn to Him and wait for His Coming in glory, in order that we might respond to what God desires of us.  What is God requiring of you—of us?  Open your mind and heart in order that we can plainly understand what God has in store for us!
