Hearts Ablaze for the Lord!
With outstanding support from Our Lady of the Lake, 17 students and 11 parents attended the National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC) Nov. 18-20. Held in Indianapolis, IN, young people from all over the country attended this huge event where both the youth and adults got to experience the church unlike anything they have ever experienced before – Adoration and Liturgy with 12,000 others.
Great music and concerts, moving keynotes, engaging workshops, opportunities for reconciliation, an interactive theme park and vendors hall – it was a non-stop event from the beginning to the end for our attendees!
2021 Theme: Ablaze
The second chapter of the book of Acts tells about the coming of the Holy Spirit. At NCYC 2021, we will call upon the Holy Spirit to descend upon our young Church and set them Ablaze for the Lord!
ABOUT NCYC
The National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC) gathers thousands of Catholic teens, parish youth ministry coordinators, bishops, pastors, parents, school campus ministers, adult chaperones, coaches, scout leaders, and diocesan leaders from across the United States. Sponsored by the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry (NFCYM), the three-day experience offers an opportunity for young people to encounter Christ, experience Church, and be empowered for discipleship.
