Please join us in praying for the repose of the soul of our sister in Christ, Marilyn (Winters) Merlo, 82, of Lake Ozark, Missouri. Marilyn passed away Monday, July 29, 2024 in Osage Beach, Missouri.  She was born March 26, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of the late Eugene and Arlene (Ennis) Winters.  On February 6, 1965 in St. Louis, Missouri she was united in marriage to Gerald J. Merlo, Sr. who preceded her in death in 2001.

Survivors include her son Gerald J. Merlo, Jr. of Ballwin, MO; daughter Jennifer Merlo of Osage Beach, MO; granddaughters Karli & Kati Reynolds of St. Charles, MO; grandson Gerald J. Merlo III of St. Louis, MO; siblings Robert Winters of Versailles, MO and Vera-Vickie Lavasani of St. Louis, MO.

Visitation will be Friday, August 2, 2024 from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church of Lake Ozark, MO with the Funeral Mass beginning at 2:00 PM conducted by Rev. Michael Penn. Reception to follow Mass.

Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery in St. Louis, MO at a later date. Memorials in her name are suggested to Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church or the Humane Society of Lake Ozark, MO.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO. 

Eternal rest grant to her, O Lord; and let light perpetual shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
