Worship Commission Leadership: Karri Brauman

Karri invited Vicki Irsik to speak on the new Stewardship Commission. The Stewardship Guides will be rolled out once the Spanish translation packets are complete. The packets contain a comprehensive list of ministries at our parish. The members of the Stewardship Commission will work in support of the other commissions guiding parishioners on how to best use their time and talents.

Discussion then turned to how the addition of the Pastoral Council and the Stewardship Commission have affected the structure of the Worship Commission. Currently the commission is structured as follows:

The commission names one ministry coordinator for each of the following ministries chosen from either the core team, associate members or parish staff. Each ministry has a brief description of the key responsibilities of that ministry. The ministry coordinator is charged with keeping a binder with policies and best practices to guide the work of the commission and the ministers themselves regarding their area of concern. The ministry coordinator ensures that there are resources to assist ministers in their service. The ministry coordinator ensures that all ministers are duly commissioned in a public ceremony and appropriately honor their service.
