As we await the appointment of the next Bishop of Jefferson City, all parishes and faithful are invited to join in prayer.

For our diocese as we await the appointment of a new Bishop and for Msgr. Kurwicki as he serves as diocesan administrator in the interim.

Let us pray to the Lord.

Prayer for a new Bishop

O God, eternal shepherd,
who govern your flock with unfailing care,
grant in your boundless fatherly loves
a pastor for your Church
who will please you by his holiness
and to us show watchful care.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God, for ever and ever. Amen.
