Last fall, I had the opportunity to attend the Welcome Weekend provided by the ladies here at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Never was a weekend more welcomed than those two days!

After months of navigating the isolation brought on by COVID, I was tired, both mentally and spiritually. I needed some renewal time just for me. Welcome provided just that. It gave me the opportunity to spend time with Christ, with friends and family members, and with fellow parishioners who would become new friends. I’m grateful that the women of our parish took the time to provide this special opportunity so I could renew my mind and my spirit. Now, I look forward to helping other women on their journey of faith.
