Welcome is a primary work of our parish and provides Catholic parishioners of Our Lady of the Lake an experience to help them discover what is missing in their lives and what to do about it.  Led by our community and taking place in our parish setting, separate men’s and women’s Welcome Weekends offer personal witnesses, faith-sharing, prayer, and celebration of the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist. Located in St. Louis, MO, White House is a Jesuit retreat house based on The Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius. Silence is an essential part and expectation of these 3-day preached retreats. In the Spiritual Exercises, you journey with the Lord in a renewal of mind, body and spirit. Cursillo is a work of the Catholic Church. It has the same apostolic purpose as the Church in that it seeks to bring others closer to Christ. It is approved by the pope and bishops. Cursillo (pronounced KER SEE O) is a three-day learning and sharing experience of what it truly means to live as a Christian. Engaged Encounter is a weekend with other engaged couples where an atmosphere is created in which each couple can concentrate exclusively on one another, free of the tensions, pressures and interruptions of the world. It is designed to give engaged couples the opportunity to discuss honestly their future lives together — their strengths and weaknesses, desires, goals, ambitions, their attitudes about money, sex, family, children, their role in the church and society — in a face-to-face way. Engaged Encounter is designed to deepen and enrich your relationship with each other. All engaged couples are welcome, including interfaith couples and those entering a second marriage.
