Please join us in praying for the repose of the soul of our brother in Christ, Sergio Cervantes, Lake Ozark, Missouri. Sergio Cervantes, age 47, of Osage Beach, Missouri passed away on March 27, 2025, at Cox Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri. 

He was born on August 1, 1977, in Mexico; a son of Pascual and Maria Isidra (Herrera) Cervantes. He was united in marriage to Vianney Ramirez on October 25, 2010. They shared 17 wonderful years together at the time of his passing. 

Sergio was the owner of Sergio’s Mexican restaurants at Lake of the Ozarks. He enjoyed operating and serving wonderful Mexican heritage food to the Lake of the Ozarks area for the past 12 years. 

When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed going camping, traveling, and listing to music. His most treasured time was always spent with his family. His family was the most important thing to him. Sergio will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.  

Sergio is survived by his wife Vianney Cervantes; his children Alex J. Cervantes, Damian Cervantes, and Jazmin Cervantes; his father Pascual Cervantes; his five siblings; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and many friends. 

Sergio was preceded by his mother Maria Isidra Cervantes and a brother.

Friends will be received from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Home Osage Beach. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.

Expressions of sympathy can be made to the family. 

Eternal rest grant to him, O Lord; and let light perpetual shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
