Stewardship Council Meeting: Tuesday, May 21, 2024, 4:30 pm

Opening Prayer: STEWARDSHIP PRAYER

Heavenly Father, My parish is composed of people like me; I make it what it is. It will be friendly if I am friendly.

Its pews will be filled if I help fill them. It will do great work, if I work.

It will make generous gifts to many causes if I am a generous giver.

It will bring other people into its worship and fellowship if I invite and bring them.

It will be a parish of loyalty and love, of fearlessness and faith, and a parish with a noble spirit, if I, who make it what it is, am filled with these same things. 

Therefore, with Your help, O God, I shall dedicate myself to growing our faith by being all things that I want my parish to be. Amen.

1. Review of the ministries we listed on our last Stewardship Commitment Form to ensure we have all of your key ministries included and that the ministries fall under the commission you believe they should:

We will get final approval from the Pastoral Council at their June 27 meeting.

2. Council/Commission Pamphlets: We know you have been talking with your Stewardship Council Rep about updating your pamphlets. It has been suggested that we all take a few minutes to discuss the pamphlets as a group so that we get some consistency across pamphlets and some creative freelance that represents the individuality of each council/commission.

Note: please have a printed and electronic copy back to yourStewardship Rep by July 12. 

We will get final approval from the Pastoral Council at their July 25 meeting.

3. Welcome Center Refresh: Open discussion and ideas. Our Stewardship Council is looking at ideas to refresh our Welcome Center and we want your thoughts and ideas on what you think is important.

4. Would you support a Council/Commission/Ministry Fair? This would be a simple meet and greet event that we would hold after all masses on a specific weekend. This would give our parishioners an opportunity to engage one-on-one to learn more.

As we close this meeting, Lord, we want to give honor to You.
Thank You, God, for the time we had together today.
May You bless each person who took the time to gather here today.
May Your hand of protection be on them throughout the rest of the week.
Let the work done here tonight be fruitful and let it all be for Your glory.
Help us each to do our part to bring the plans discussed to life.
