Songs:
Put Your Trust in God
Jesu, Redemptor
I am Sure I Shall See
Christ, You Are the Light
Peace I Leave You

Put your trust in God, and do not fear.

God’s peace will dwell deep within your hearts.

Put your trust in God.

Jesu, Redemptor

Jesu, redemptor omnium, tu lumen et splendor Patris, tibi sit Gloria, tibi jesu sit Gloria.

Jesus, redeemer of the world, light and splendor of God the Father, glory and praise to you,

All glory and praise to you.

Psalm 143:

Lord, make haste and answer; for my spirit fails within me.

Do not hide your face lest I become like those in the grave.

In the morning let me know your love for I put my trust in you.

Make me know the way I should walk; to you I lift up my soul.

Teach me to do your will for you, O Lord, are my God.

Let your good spirit guide me in ways that are level and smooth.

For your name’s sake, Lord, save my life; in your justice save my soul from distress.

Rescue my life from oppression for I am your servant, O Lord.

John 11: 32 – 44

When Mary came where Jesus was and saw him, she knelt at his feet and said to him, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her also weeping, he was greatly disturbed in spirit and deeply moved. He said, “Where have you laid him?”

They said to him, “Lord, come and see.” Jesus began to weep. So the Jews said, “See how he loved him!”

But some of them said, “Could not he who opened the eyes of the blind man have kept him from dying?”

Then Jesus, again greatly disturbed, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone was lying against it.

Jesus said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of the dead man, said to him, “Lord, already there is a stench because he has been dead four days.” Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?” So they took away the stone. And Jesus looked upward and said, “Father, I thank you for having heard me. I knew that you always hear me, but I have said this for the sake of the crowd standing here, so that they may believe that you sent me.” When he had said this, he cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” The dead man came out, his hands and feet bound with strips of cloth, and his face wrapped

in a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Unbind him, and let him go.”

I am Sure I Shall See

I am sure I shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

Yes, I shall see the goodness of our God, hold firm, trust in the Lord.

Breath of God’s loving, in each person you place faith. It is a simple trust, so simple that all can welcome it.

Recognized or not, you kindle a fire in our darkness that never dies out.

Christ, You Are Light

Christ, you are light for those who follow you. You come to bring to all the light of life.

Christe, lux mundi, qui sequiturte habebit lumen vitae, lumen vitae
