We celebrate our parish feast day
On Friday, August 22, 2025, we will once again celebrate our parish patronal feast day, the Feast of the Queenship of Mary, the Mother of God and Queen of Heaven and Earth.
To prepare for our patronal feast day on August 22, we will hold a novena of prayer each night at 5:30 pm beginning Wednesday, August 13 through Friday, August 22. (The novena will follow Mass on the 13th, 14th, 16th, 17th and 20th.)
You can participate in any day of the novena privately at home or with our parish community at church.
It would be wonderful if everyone at least would pray the novena prayer and the daily prayer intention each day.
O Star of the Sea, please be a beacon of light for our parish so that we may fulfill our mission to bring God’s Light to the World and guide all souls to heaven. Amen.

At home — you can say the full set or short set of daily prayers:

At church — The novena prayers will be held each night at 5:30 pm beginning Wednesday, August 13 through Friday, August 22. (The novena will follow Mass on the 14th and the 17th.)
The evening at church consists of scripture, songs and praying the rosary and the Litany of Loreto in the chapel led by Our Lady of the Lake commissions and various groups in our parish. Afterwards, a simple meal or refreshments will be shared with those who attend. Parishioners are welcome to sign up to attend one or all the evenings of prayer in the chapel.
Signup sheets listing the host groups will be located at the Welcome Center in the Fellowship Hall, or you may call the office at 573-365-2241 for more information on times and to leave your information and nights you want to attend.
ALL parishioners are invited to participate! This is a wonderful opportunity for our parish to grow in faith and strengthen our bonds as a community.
